SAVE MARINA

Save Marina Campaign has launched to protect the city’s most popular attraction the Marina Beach.

Marina Beach, used to be famous for its pristine beauty and rich ecosystems. But in recent times, the beach has become polluted. A proliferation of plastic bags, human waste and other pollutants have rendered many parts of the beach unusable.

FCSR is campaigning to spread the awareness about the significance of Marina Beach. FCSR is also actively engaged in the cleanup activities to restore the beauty and ecosystem of the Marina.

PROJECT COOUM

Project Cooum has initiated to restore the city’s one and only fresh water source the Cooum River. Once the Cooum River was used for fishing and boat racing. Today its bcome a drainage course of Chennai. Its spoiled by filth and pollution and the water quality is become highly toxic.

FCSR has launched a Campaign to conserve and restore the Cooum river. The Goal of the Campaign is to generate awareness to the local community about the benifits of restoring the Cooum river.
